Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is weaponizing the justice system against Donald Trump.

She never expected to face Republican pushback against her lawfare.

And Jim Jordan caused the Fulton County DA to have this epic meltdown.

House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is investigating Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis after she indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 of his allies for challenging Georgia’s results in the 2020 Election.

He fired off a letter to Willis asking for documents and other information about her communications with the Biden regime before the Trump indictment.

“Your indictment and prosecution implicate substantial federal interests, and the circumstances surrounding your actions raise serious concerns about whether they are politically motivated,” Jordan wrote in a letter to Willis.

Jordan said that her prosecution led to speculation that it was an attempt to interfere in the 2024 Election.

“You did not bring charges until two-and-a-half years later, at a time when the campaign for the Republican presidential nomination is in full swing,” Jordan explained. “Moreover, you have requested that the trial in this matter begin on March 4, 2024, the day before Super Tuesday and eight days before the Georgia presidential primary. It is therefore unsurprising many have speculated that this indictment and prosecution are designed to interfere with the 2024 presidential election.”

The Ohio Republican said that the results of his investigation could be used to create legislation about the use of federal funding by state courts and law enforcement in the future.

Willis, a Democrat, launched a new campaign fundraising website four days before her indictment of Trump was announced according to Jordan.

The rogue Fulton County DA was furious about being put on notice for political persecution of Trump.

Fulton County DA whines about Jim Jordan’s investigation

Fani Willis fired back at Jim Jordan with a letter complaining about his investigation into her office.

She claimed that it’s “clear that you lack a basic understanding of the law.”

Jordan graduated from law school but chose a career in politics over being a practicing attorney.

Willis whined that the investigation amounted to bullying and said that Jordan’s time would be better spent investigating threats against her.

She laughably claimed that she was keeping her “promise of my oath to the United States and Georgia Constitutions and do not allow myself to be bullied by members of Congress, local elected officials, or other who believe lady justice should not be blind and that America has different laws for different citizens.”

Jordan’s requested documents and information were denied by the Fulton County DA.

She claimed that any attempt to touch the federal funding for her office would result in “at-risk” kids being hurt.

“If you and your colleagues follow through on your threats to deny this office federal funds, please be aware that you will be deciding to allow serial rapists to go unprosecuted, hate crimes to be unaddressed, and to cancel programs for at-risk children,” Willis wrote. “Such vengeful, uncalled-for legislative action would impose serious harm on the citizens we serve, including the fact that it will make them less safe.”

Willis is deflecting from the real issue of her abuse of power by trying to pull at people’s heartstrings by falsely claiming that accountability would let criminals run wild.

The showdown between Jim Jordan and Fanni Willis is the beginning of GOP efforts to rein in the rogue prosecutor.
