Merrick Garland’s politicization of the Justice Department is beyond the pale.
He’s become the top political hatchet man against the regime’s enemies.
But Jim Jordan just put Merrick Garland on notice after he made this one prediction.
The Left has been melting down since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Democrats have mobilized unruly mobs of thugs to come after the conservative Supreme Court Justices.
Disguised as “peaceful protests” outside of their homes, Justices have been facing an illegal intimidation campaign from the Left.
This is illegal, as federal law makes any attempt to influence a judge by picketing or parading outside their homes a crime.
Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden Justice Department have ignored the law, giving a wink and nod to the thuggish actions from the mobs.
By turning a blind eye to these mobs, Garland is putting the conservative Justices in grave danger.
A deranged California leftist with a gun was previously arrested for attempted murder outside of Justice Kavanaugh’s home.
In an appearance on Newsmax, Jim Jordan put Merrick Garland on notice for his failure to protect the Supreme Court Justices.
“The idea that the Left here politically is joining in the effort to intimidate the Supreme Court is frightening,” Jordan said.
Jordan was asked by the host if Merrick Garland should be impeached.
“I think everything’s on the table,” Jordan replied.
He added that the GOP needed to win back control of Congress before moving forward against Garland.
“The main thing is, we got to take our message to the American people, not get overconfident in campaigning,” Jordan said. “If the country gives us the majority in the House, I think everything should be on the table when it comes to the Attorney General.”
“When it comes to the Attorney General, you have a statute on the books that says if protestors are at Supreme Court Justices’ homes trying to impact and influence a decision that is against the law,” Jordan continued.
Garland hasn’t prosecuted any of the unruly mobs out of the homes of Justices, leading to a rare 100-0 vote in the Senate for a bill to provide additional protection for Justices and their families in the face of unprecedented threats.
“And he refuses to prosecute any of these protesters, confirming something that I think is very scary,” Jordan said. “We now have one of the key agencies in the executive branch joining in the effort to intimidate a separate and equal branch of government, the judicial branch. That is scary when that kind of stuff goes on.”
Merrick Garland and his rogue Justice Department will be in the crosshairs of Republicans if they retake control of Congress this fall.
