Joe Biden’s error-filled rollout of his administration has Democrats in damage control mode.
The wheels already look like they are falling off.
And Joe Biden admitted a humiliating defeat that left jaws on the ground.
Joe Biden campaigned on a pledge to open most schools by the end of his first 100 days in office.
But Americans are finding out that was a lie.
The powerful teachers unions – which are the biggest players in Democrat Party politics – don’t want to go back to work and Joe Biden and his aides are siding with the unions and ignoring the science that says it is safe to open schools immediately.
At a recent White House press briefing, a reporter asked press secretary Jen Psaki about what Biden means by most schools being open by the end of his first 100 days in office.
“Does it mean teachers in [a] classroom teaching students in classrooms or does it just mean kids in classrooms with a remote screen? Help us understand,” the reporter asked.
Psaki left Americans stunned by claiming schools open one day a week for in person instruction constituted open by the Biden administration’s standards.
“That means some teaching in classrooms. So at least one day a week, hopefully it’s more. And obviously, it is as much as is safe in each school and local district,” Psaki said.
That is not what was promised.
Schools being open means schools open five days a week for in-person instruction.
By the Biden administration’s new standard of hybrid learning constituting being open, 65 percent of American schools are already “open” according to the school event aggregating website Burbio.com.
This is another Biden campaign trail pledge that turned out to be a lie.
Biden promised $2,000 checks if the Democrats won the Senate and instead his stimulus bill includes $1,400 checks.
Biden promised most schools would be open by the end of his first 100 days in office and instead Biden is endorsing the teachers union plan to keep them closed.
