Joe Biden had some bad news for Democrats about the 2024 election

Joe Biden’s campaign is in crisis mode.

Biden trails in the polls, and it’s an open question as to whether he can even remain the Democrat nominee for President.

And now Joe Biden had some bad news for Democrats about the 2024 election.

Joe Biden admits his main attack on Donald Trump is a big lie

Joe Biden can’t run on his record.

Polls show his approval rating is down to 36 percent thanks to prices rising more than 19 percent in his term, the wide-open southern border, lawless conduct in office, and schemes to ban gas-powered cars.

Biden resorted to attacking Donald Trump on the basis that if Trump wins in November, America will never have another election again.

On the afternoon of July 5, Biden doubled down, claiming Donald Trump will end freedom and democracy in America if he wins re-election.

“For over two centuries, America has been a free and democratic nation,” Biden wrote.

“I’ll be damned if in the year 2024 – just two years before the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence – Donald Trump takes that away,” Biden concluded.

Biden later admitted to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that it was all a lie.

In the interview – which Biden only sat for to perform damage control following his disastrous debate performance – Stephanopoulos asked Biden about staying in the race as polls show him losing to Trump.

“And if you stay in and Trump is elected, and everything you’re warning about comes to pass, how will you feel in January?” Stephanopoulos asks.

Stephanopoulos spoke for those who wondered about how if the future of American democracy is at stake, how can Biden remain the Democrat nominee if he can’t win.

Biden’s response was stunning, as he claimed all that mattered was that he ended the campaign knowing he did his best and left it all on the field.

“I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and I did as good a job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,” Biden answered.

Democrats furious

Top Democrats were livid coming out of the interview.

Many secretly hoped Biden would fall flat on his face and look even more old and senile than in the debate, leaving Biden no choice but to exit the race.

Instead, Biden managed to not just muddle through but to also undercut the Democrat Party’s last remaining line of attack on Donald Trump.

Former Barack Obama chief strategist David Axelrod expressed his frustration with Biden, claiming giving it the old college try would allow him to keep his head up high if Trump wins.

No, sir. It’s not,” Axelrod wrote in a CNN op-ed responding to Biden saying giving it his all was what really mattered.

Axelrod also took Biden to task for claiming the polls showing him losing were fake.

“The president is rightfully proud of his record. But he is dangerously out-of-touch with the concerns people have about his capacities moving forward and his standing in this race,” Axelrod posted on X.

“Four years ago at this time, he was 10 points ahead of Trump. Today, he is six points behind,” Axelrod added.

Democrats are growing more desperate as every day that goes by makes it harder to replace Biden as ballot deadlines approach.
