Joe Biden just hit Americans trapped in Afghanistan with the awful news they were dreading.
The Biden administration struggled to evacuate those stranded in Afghanistan and can’t even provide an accurate number to the public as to how many Americans are actually in Afghanistan.
The military secured Kabul Airport where thousands of Afghans mobbed the entrance making it difficult for Americans to find their way to the airport.
And then the U.S. embassy is alerting the Americans deserted by the administration to avoid traveling to the airport despite the fact that there is precious little time remaining before U.S. troops exit the country.
“Because of security threats outside the gates of Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so,” a U.S. embassy alert stated.
Later it became clear why the U.S. embassy told Americans to avoid the airport.
British and American intelligence agencies picked up credible reports of an imminent terrorist attack on the airport.

The United Kingdom and Western allies have warned they have credible intelligence of an “imminent” terror attack against Kabul airport, where thousands of people are crowded outside the gates in hope of catching a flight out.
Speaking on Thursday morning, British Armed Forces Minister James Heappey told British television audiences that the “credibility” of the intelligence about what he described as an “imminent” and deadly terror suicide terror attack against the crowds at the Afghan airport was so strong that they had to take the decision to order them to disperse.
Terror attacks at Kabul airport on Americans were likely sealed the moment Joe Biden botched the disastrous withdrawal of American troops.
The security situation on the ground got worse and everyone saw the writing on the wall.
Now, time is running out and Americans are stranded in fear for their lives. They can’t go to the airport.
