Former Vice President Joe Biden is the Democrat Party frontrunner for President.
Democrats believed Biden was the strongest candidate to take on President Trump.
But Joe Biden just made this one gaffe that has every Democrat realizing it’s over.
Appearing at an election forum for Vice News, former Vice President Biden told the crowd that he would fire any ICE agents who deported illegal aliens for driving drunk.
“I would hold ICE agents accountable if in fact they stepped over my executive orders, which is no arrest of any kind outside of the schools,” Biden declared. “You know, look at the — one of the things that’s happening is, particularly for the Latino and Hispanic kids, is the incredible pressure on them in terms of their sense of security.”
Biden went on to explain that he did not consider drunk driving a serious crime.
“You change the culture by saying, ‘You’re gonna get fired.’ ‘You’re fired,’ if in fact you do that,” Biden stated. “You only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that’s committed, and I don’t consider drunk driving as a felony.”
President Trump is sure to make the case that Biden and the Democrats are the party of open borders.
That task became much easier when Biden set the bar impossibly high for any illegal alien to be deported for criminal behavior.
Illegal alien drunk drivers have killed American citizens.
In 2017, a 16-year-old illegal alien was driving drunk when the illegal alien smashed his car into another vehicle and killed Indianapolis Colts football player Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver.
That was just one of the most high profile deaths in accidents involving illegal alien drunk drivers.
In 2018, the Department of Homeland Security arrested illegal aliens with over 80,000 combined criminal charges or convictions for drunk driving.
Joe Biden’s claim that these menaces on the road are not serious threats to the lives of American citizens is sure to find its way into campaign ads should Biden become the nominee.
