Joe Biden said four words about Kamala Harris that sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C.

Joe Biden knew he made a mistake in picking Kamala Harris as his Vice President.

Biden is now willing to admit that to allies.

And Joe Biden said four words about Kamala Harris that sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C.

Chris Whipple’s new book, The Fight of His Life, gives the first glimpse into the uneasy relationship between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

In the book, Whipple quotes Biden as saying Harris is a “work in progress” and expressing exasperation that she complained about the issues assigned to her portfolio.

POLITICO reports:

In the first months of his presidency, JOE BIDEN vented his frustration about Vice President KAMALA HARRIS, telling a friend that she was “a work in progress.”

According to an upcoming book about the Biden presidency obtained by West Wing Playbook, “The Fight of His Life,” word got back to him that second gentleman DOUGLAS EMHOFF had been complaining about Harris’ policy portfolio — which her allies felt was hurting her politically. “Biden was annoyed,” wrote author CHRIS WHIPPLE, who obtained extensive access to Biden administration officials while writing the book. “He hadn’t asked Harris to do anything he hadn’t done as vice president — and she’d begged him for the voting rights assignment.”

Biden wasn’t alone. A senior White House adviser vented that “[Harris’] inner circle didn’t serve her well in the presidential campaign — and they are ill-serving her now.”

Polls show Harris is one of the most unpopular Vice President’s in American history, as just 38 percent of voters approve of her job in office.

Biden should have known Harris would be a train wreck.

Harris ran for President against Biden in the 2020 Democrat Primary, giving him an up close and personal look at her grating personality, cringe inducing cackle, and incompetent political instincts.

Harris had so little support from voters and donors that she dropped out of the race around Thanksgiving of 2019, months before the first votes were cast.

Once in office, Harris did little to distinguish herself.

Biden named Harris as border czar in March of 2021, but the situation at the border only further deteriorated.

The administration is set to end Title 42, which will allow as many as 14,000 illegal aliens to cross the border every day.

Immigration is a no-win issue for Democrats.

The administration’s stated policy is open borders, but that is also wildly unpopular with voters.

Harris knows that serving as the face of the administration’s illegal alien invasion is not the springboard to a successful Presidential campaign in 2024 or 2028.

And now Americans have their first indications that Biden knows he erred in picking Harris.
