Joe Biden and the Democrats are ramping up the fear-mongering over election integrity laws.
It’s causing them to make mistakes.
And now Joe Biden said two words about voter fraud that instantly backfired.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed an election integrity law that brought Georgia’s election procedures in line with other states.
The bill requires photo identification when requesting and submitting an absentee ballot, limits the use of ballot drop boxes, and also shortens the time frame for runoff elections from nine weeks to four weeks.
The Heritage Foundation applauded the bill as a “model” for the rest of the nation.
Democrats were furious and began smearing the bill with false claims of racism.
Joe Biden called it an “un-American law to deny people the right to vote.”
“This is Jim Crow in the 21st Century. It must end,” Biden added.
The bill does not deny anyone the right to vote.
Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware requires voter ID and bans no excuse absentee mail-in voting.
But Democrats are desperate.
Democrats took advantage of Coronavirus emergency rules to expand mail-in voting and enabled widespread ballot harvesting to gain power in 2020.
Joe Biden and his allies simply do not believe they can win an election that has clear rules of the road and where voters cast their ballots under a system where the public trusts that their votes will be counted fairly.
The truth is, voter ID is wildly popular with one poll showing 62 percent of black voters and 54 percent of liberals backing the requirement to present photo identification before voting.
Democrats are already planning to make the 2022 midterms a referendum on their socialist agenda.
Now they want to fight on the issue of voter ID – where the public is overwhelmingly against them – when they have some of the barest majorities in American history to defend.
