The Texas Congressman said that China is using fentanyl to wage “asymmetrical war” against the United States and slammed Biden for failing to hold Chinese President Xi Jinping accountable for the catastrophe.
During an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News, Fallon said that President Biden is empowering Mexican drug cartels to smuggle fentanyl into the country.
“It’s a de facto open border right now,” Fallon said. “We have 160 countries represented by people that have been crossing the border illegally.”
The Border Patrol apprehended a record-setting 2.3 million illegal aliens during the past year, with an untold number slipping into the country undetected.
“We caught 98 people on the terrorist watch list. Drugs and the cartels,” Fallon continued. “It’s unbelievable the policies that Joe Biden put in place to empower the cartels.”
In addition to fentanyl, a growing number of illegal aliens have been apprehended at the border who were on the FBI’s terrorism database after three were caught during the last two years of the Trump administration.
Fallon pointed out that federal authorities have seized 28,000 pounds of fentanyl since Biden occupied the White House, allegedly enough to kill every American several times over.
“Most of the fentanyl is made in China and ferried through Mexico,” Fallon said. “This is asymmetrical warfare being waged by the Communist Chinese on our country and Joe Biden doesn’t have the guts to even bring it up to Xi Jinping when he talks to him.”
Chemical precursors to fentanyl are produced in China before being shipped to Mexico to be turned into the lethal drug.
The Chinese government has backed off cooperating with the Biden regime to shut down the flow of chemical precursors to Mexico.
Talks between the Chinese government and the Drug Enforcement Administration and State Department about working together to stop fentanyl have stopped altogether according to the Biden regime.
