Joe Biden is a petty, thin-skinned politician.
He can’t stand criticism from anyone, especially Democrats.
And Joe Biden was fuming after a leading Democrat gave Fox News this surprising answer.
The recent Supreme Court term saw Democrats take one major loss after another.
The Court handed Democrats major defeats on abortion, religious liberty, and gun rights.
But in the final decision of the term, the Justices gave Joe Biden a rare victory.
In a 5-4 decision, John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh joined with the Court’s leftists to allow Joe Biden to end President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” immigration policy.
“Remain in Mexico” required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their cases were heard in federal court.
The ruling reversed a lower court decision that kept the policy in place following a lawsuit from Republican Attorneys General in Texas and Missouri.
With “Remain in Mexico” gone, the Biden regime can now let asylum seekers into the country with the promise that they show up to a later court day.
While they disperse throughout the country, very few of the asylum seekers ever show up to their court dates.
The Biden regime has funneled asylum seekers with flimsy grounds for asylum as part of its open borders agenda.
After the Supreme Court handed Biden this victory, the border crisis is on the verge of a frightening new level of chaos.
Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar represents a district in Texas on the border that’s been ground zero for the Biden border crisis.
In an appearance on Fox News, Cuellar became one of the few Democrats to defend the “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Cuellar asked the Biden regime to do its job and enforce immigration laws.
“There are people that can implement the laws that we have on the books to make sure that there’s repercussions. Otherwise when we finish this fiscal year on September 30, we are going to have a record number of people coming into the United States. Again, if there’s no repercussions … they’re going to keep coming into the United States in large, large numbers,” warned Cuellar.
Reacting to the Supreme Court decision, Cuellar defended President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy.
“My position has been that, in this case, if you have them remain in Mexico and they have access to an attorney they want to come and present their case and they’re in a safe situation, then we ought to do that,” Cuellar said. “Because otherwise, you have so many people that come in — come into the United States.”
“And a lot of them are given false hope because if you have a hundred people, only 10-12% are going to be given asylum. … So, why are we letting 100% in when we should be allowing only 10% to 12% of those people to come into the United States?” Cuellar wondered.
Joe Biden is using the asylum process as a backdoor scheme to advance his open border agenda.
