Joe Biden is trying to ram through his left-wing agenda through Congress.

But he was just thrown a curveball he never expected.

And Biden was furious when a leading Republican said three words about his latest budget.

President Joe Biden unveiled his bloated $6.8 trillion federal budget proposal for the next fiscal year.

The proposed budget is the opening bid in the President’s negotiations with Congress.

Instead of moderating in preparation for the launch of his re-election campaign, Biden is proposing a dramatic increase in spending and taxes.

Projections for the Biden budget found that it would hammer businesses and individuals with $5 trillion in new tax increases that would drive up the cost of living for everyone.

Left-wing priorities like climate change, racial equity, and environmental justice are showered with billions in new federal spending under the proposal.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) is one of the most colorful and quotable members of the Senate.

During an interview with Fox News, he said that Biden’s nearly $7 trillion budget took his “breath away” and the only way to improve it “is with a shredder.”

“The President’s budget took my breath away,” Kennedy said. “His numbers are extraordinary; we’re going to run out of digits here.”

The $2.2 trillion increase in spending is one of the biggest peacetime federal spending increases in history.

“It’s a $6.9 trillion budget, $4.7 trillion in new taxes that will affect everyone over 10 years, $18 trillion in new debt, a cut to defense,” Kennedy added.

Biden falsely claimed that he reduced the federal deficit during his Presidency by trying to take credit for spending going down after emergency programs from the pandemic expired.

His proposed budget would crush the country under a mountain of new debt.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget said that the Biden budget would nearly double the country’s national debt over the next decade, jumping $24.6 trillion to $43.6 trillion.

“The only way I know how to improve the President’s budget is with a shredder,” Kennedy said.

Biden claims that his budget proposal will fix the projected shortfalls looming for Social Security and Medicare.

“The President says that his budget will solve our financial problems in Medicare and Social Security,” Kennedy explained. “That’s not true. Anything seems possible when you don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Non-partisan analysis found that the budget will speed up the bankruptcy of Social Security and Medicare.

The Wall Street Journal just reported that the President’s budget will add $11 trillion in a financial shortfall to Social Security and Medicare,” Kennedy added.

Kennedy slammed Biden’s proposal to cancel student loan debt for borrowers.

“The President’s plan to have the American people pay for student debt costs $400 billion over 10 years, we already had a plan to repay student debt – it’s called a job,” Kennedy said.

Joe Biden’s proposed federal budget is another attempt to ram through failed liberal tax-and-spend policies.
