Joe Biden has unleashed the worst border crisis the country has ever seen.
He’s left the door wide open on the border for illegal aliens and drugs to flow into the country.
The crisis is turning every state in America into a border state, with drugs and illegal aliens showing up everywhere.
Now a group of Red states are taking action against Biden’s border crisis.
Florida joined seven other Republican-led states – Texas, Arkansas, Alaska, Indiana, Oklahoma, Montana, and Missouri – to file a lawsuit against Biden’s Central American Minors Refugee and Parole Program (CAM).
CAM is an Obama-era immigration program that allows minors who enter the country illegally to avoid being deported.
It also gives them the ability to bring family members with them.
Obama implemented the program through executive action in 2014 before it was ended by President Trump.
The lawsuit says that since the program wasn’t created by Congress, it allows Biden to usurp Congressional power under existing immigration law.
Texas’ Attorney General blasted the Biden regime, saying it “has sown nothing but disaster for our country through its illegal, unconstitutional immigration policies.”
“Biden’s latest round of flagrant law-breaking includes his CAM, which has contributed significantly to many states being forced to take in even more aliens. My fellow Attorneys General and I are suing to stop it,” he added.
Ron DeSantis weighed in, saying, “the Biden administration continues to disregard the laws of this country and allow massive numbers of illegal aliens across the border, without regard to possible criminal backgrounds or connections to illicit activity.”
“Not only are these illegal aliens allowed free reign in this country, but the administration also pushes the burden and costs onto the states and ignores the consequences of its policies. I’m glad that Attorney General Moody is helping to block the reckless immigration policies of the Biden administration,” DeSantis added.
Florida’s Attorney General, who recently visited the border, added that “I will not only work aggressively to stop these illegal acts, but I will continue to inform Floridians about what their federal government is actually doing, and the dangers associated with those decisions.”
The lawsuit comes after 12 Republican Attorney Generals attended a border security summit in Texas.
With the Biden regime’s open border chaos, Red states are stepping up and taking the regime to court.
This is the 9th border security lawsuit filed by the Texas Attorney General.
Earlier, Texas and Missouri scored a major legal victory against the regime by bringing back the “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum seekers.
Republican Attorney Generals will now have to take the lead in holding Biden accountable for border security.
