The corporate-controlled media spent the last three months trying to hide Joe Biden’s scandals and failures.
But there is one crisis they can’t sweep under the rug.
And that’s because Joe Biden was thrown off guard by a letter outlining a big criminal accusation.
On Monday, Virginia Republican Congressman Bob Good was joined by over 20 of his colleagues in a letter to David Chipman, the conspiracy theorist and gun grabber that Joe Biden nominated to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Good requested Chipman publically commit to investigating allegations that Hunter Biden committed a felony by lying on a background check form when he purchased a gun.
“I write to ask that you publicly commit to investigate allegations that Hunter Biden falsified information during a background check in order to illegally obtain a firearm should you be confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF),” the letter wrote.
Biden allegedly checked a box on a background check form indicating he did not have a substance abuse problem, even though in 2014 he was thrown out of the Navy for cocaine use.
“Since lying on a background check form is a felony,” the letter continued, “this allegation merits an investigation.”
Good and Republicans want Chipman to commit to equal standards of justice for all Americans regardless of political affiliation.
“Your public commitment to hold all Americans to the same standard would demonstrate a good faith effort to maintain the rule of law and keep all Americans safe,” the Republicans wrote.
So far, it appears that the Biden administration believes criminal prosecution is reserved only for Republicans.
Prosecutors are dismissing dozens of criminal cases against Antifa terrorists while lining up to throw the book at Trump supporters for their role in the events of January 6, even if they were just walking around the Capitol and not being violent.
The Republicans’ letter to Chipman is a chance for the Biden administration to prove that laws apply equally in America.
