Joe Biden and his administration were waiting for the right moment to make their move.
Now it may never come.
Joe Biden’s big plans just got foiled by some ugly poll numbers that no one saw coming.
Dr. Fauci, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and Jen Psaki all sought to soften the ground for the Biden administration supporting mandatory COVID vaccinations.
Fauci, Murthy and Psaki all declared their backing for state and local governments – as well as businesses – forcing Americans to take the coronavirus vaccine.
Administration officials say they expect local governments and businesses to begin requiring Americans to submit to forced vaccinations after the Food and Drug Administration gives full approval to the vaccines currently available.
But that decision may blow up in the administration’s faces.
A new poll from the Trafalgar Group found that Americans oppose mandatory vaccinations by a 71 to 22 margin.
This survey found even 58 percent of Democrats oppose forced coronavirus vaccinations.
New @trafalgar_group poll shows Americans oppose mandatory vaccination 71-22. That minus-49 margin is about as much consensus as you can get in today's climate. For context, widely unpopular TARP that eventually launched the Tea Party was "only" minus-45.https://t.co/9W3LrgXnxG

If the Biden administration supports making the vaccines mandatory it could cause massive political protests and mobilization.
In today’s polarized environment there are very few issues where 7 in 10 Americans agree.
And Joe Biden and the Democrats may be blundering their way on to the wrong side of one of them by supporting forced vaccination.
