Kamala Harris found out some bad news about what Democrats really think about her

Kamala Harris is learning she has few friends in the Democrat Party.

It is increasingly clear that many at the highest levels want Harris out of the way if Joe Biden does not run for re-election in 2024.

And Kamala Harris found out some bad news about what Democrats really think about her.

New York Times reporters Alexander Burns and Jonathan Martin’s book, This Will Not Pass, sheds light on the low opinion Joe Biden’s staffers – and wife – hold of Vice President Kamala Harris.

After Biden named Harris as his border czar, she took a disastrous trip in June 2021 to the Northern Triangle countries.

While there, the main news she made was in a disastrous interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, where she refused to answer a simple question about when she planned to visit America’s southern border to appraise the illegal alien invasion taking place.

Shortly after this botched trip, a story appeared in POLITICO attributed to current and former Harris staffers blaming the dysfunction in Harris’ office on her failures as a boss.

In the book, Burns and Martin report that White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield realized that the blame for Harris’ failures did not lie with the fact that her staff served her poorly.

Instead, Bedingfeld realized Harris was just an incompetent.

“In private, Bedingfield had taken to noting that the Vice Presidency was not the first time in Harris’s political career that she had fallen short of sky-high expectations: Her Senate office had been messy and her Presidential campaign had been a fiasco. Perhaps, she suggested, the problem was not the Vice President’s staff,” Burns and Martin wrote.

Bedingfield did not directly deny the allegation, but instead only attacked the book for quoting an anonymous source.

“The fact that no one working on this book bothered to call to fact check this unattributed claim tells you what you need to know,” Bedingfield stated before describing Harris as “a force in this administration.”

Kamala Harris ended her Presidential campaign as one of the biggest flameouts of all time.

Harris shot to first place in the polls after essentially calling Joe Biden a racist in the first Democrat Presidential Primary debate.

But Harris quickly fizzed out as voters saw she could not answer unscripted questions and flip-flopped back and forth between trying to be a champion for the socialist base while appeasing the donor-class establishment.

Harris dropped out of the race around Thanksgiving in 2019, months before a single vote was cast, and with low single digit support in the polls and no ability to raise any money.

Members of the Biden high command leaked unflattering stories about Harris to Burns and Martin because they likely know Biden isn’t running for re-election in 2024 – and they want to signal to other Democrats that they should not be afraid to challenge Harris in the Primary.
