Kamala Harris and her bumbling political operation continue to cause heartburn for Democrats.
It seems like every day brings another bad headline.
Now Kamala Harris has a lot of explaining to do after telling this lie about a health scare.
On Sunday morning Kamala Harris took a mysterious trip to Walter Reed Medical Center for a supposedly “routine” doctor’s visit.
This news raised eyebrows across the country as few Americans schedule “routine” doctor’s visits for Sunday morning.
Harris’ visit to Walter Reed came after six Texas Democrats, who fled to Washington D.C. to block a vote on Lonestar State election integrity legislation, met with Harris.
At the White House press briefing Jen Psaki claimed Harris and her team explained the suspicious visit was to take a COVID test and the results came back negative.
“I think the Vice President’s Office put out that she was tested, and that she did — there was no detection of COVID-19,” Psaki stated.
However, Harris’ team told a different and false story.
Harris’ spokeswoman Symone Sanders released a statement announcing that because of the timeline of the Texas Democrats testing positive for the coronavirus – and the fact that Harris didn’t come into close contact with them – meant Harris did not need to take a test.
“On Tuesday, July 13th, Vice President Harris met with members of the Texas state legislature who are temporarily in Washington, D.C. Earlier today, it was brought to our attention that two of the members at that meeting tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the timeline of these positive tests, it was determined the Vice President and her staff present at the meeting were not at risk of exposure because they were not in close contact with those who tested positive and therefore do not need to be tested or quarantined. The Vice President and her staff are fully vaccinated,” Sanders’ statement read.
This statement was manifestly untrue in every regard.
And now Americans are wondering why Harris and her team would mislead the public about a “routine” doctor’s visit and negative COVID test.
