Democrats are stuck with Kamala Harris.
Joe Biden is keeping Harris on the ticket in 2024.

Harris holds a 39 percent approval rating and Americans see Harris as a ridiculous figure.

Harris also saw more than 15 staffers quit her office after POLITICO ran a story in the summer of 2021 revealing allegations that Harris ran a toxic work environment.
But the tipping point for Harris came last fall when Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren declined to endorse the idea of Harris on the ticket in 2024.
“I really want to defer to what makes Biden comfortable on his team,” Warren stated.
Warren may also have been throwing a brushback pitch at a potential rival for the 2024 or 2028 Democrat Party nomination.
Now Harris and her allies are reportedly telling Democrats to get in line and stop attacking Harris in the press.
Democrats realize that if Biden runs, Harris will remain on the ticket, so constantly attacking Harris could only serve to demoralize Democrat voter enthusiasm.

Embedded in many top Democrats’ thinking as Biden appears headed toward a reelection campaign announcement, according to CNN’s conversations with three dozen leading Democrats, is fear that years of Harris negativity could now prove a political problem. Any running mate is a heartbeat away from the presidency, they say, but that’s a different proposition when the heart in question has been beating for more than 80 years.
Multiple Democratic leaders contend that if people don’t start feeling more positive about the next person in the line of succession, they might turn away from the ticket entirely. They’re urging allies to stop the Harris pile-on, if only for Biden’s sake – or for Democrats’ sake, or the party’s future.
One Democrat State Party chair told CNN Democrats had no choice but to embrace Harris.
“Right now, she seems to be an albatross,” the state party told CNN. “She’s either going to be a liability or a help. And you better embrace her because it’s not like she’s going to be off the ticket.”
“It’s gone from the negative, ‘We can’t have her be weak,’ to the positive, ‘She must be a force, and she’s demonstrated that she can be,’” another operative explained.

Now Democrats are learning the hard way that Biden picking Harris is the political equivalent of “get woke and go broke.”
