Kamala Harris took the gloves off and picked this fight with Donald Trump

Kamala Harris is coming out of hiding to try and play a major role in the 2024 election.

Surprisingly, Democrats think this is good news.

Kamala Harris took the gloves off and picked this fight with Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris wants to fight over Arizona abortion law

Arizona is one of the key swing states that will decide who wins the Presidency.

Arizona is also ground zero for the flood of illegal aliens entering the country.

According to the CommonSense Institute, inflation in the city of Phoenix reached a peak of 13.4% in 2022.

Democrats don’t want to talk about any of those issues because the discussion would center on how Joe Biden’s to blame.

Instead, Democrats want to hone in on a recent Arizona State Supreme Court decision to allow a Pro-Life law that bans all abortions except in the case of the life of the mother to take effect.

Democrats won key Senate races in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania in 2022, pummeling their Republican opponents with lying attack ads smearing GOP candidates as monsters that want to take away women’s healthcare following the Dobbs decision repealing Roe v. Wade.

Conservatives fear a replay in 2024 as Kamala Harris is on the ground in Arizona hammering Republicans as women-haters while Senate candidate Kari Lake tries to make the issue go away by pressuring state Republicans to repeal the law.

Harris attacks Trump over Arizona abortion law

Sensing Republicans were on the backfoot, Kamala Harris parachuted into Arizona and hammered Donald Trump over the State Supreme Court ruling and falsely claiming if Trump won the November election he would ban abortion nationwide.

“We all must understand who is to blame. It is the former president, Donald Trump. It is Donald Trump who, during his campaign in 2016, said women should be punished for seeking an abortion,” Harris began.

“Donald Trump is the architect of this health care crisis. And that’s not a fact he hides. In fact, he brags about it,” Harris added.

“And as much harm as he has already caused, a second Trump term would be even worse. If Donald Trump gets the chance, he will sign a national abortion ban. How do we know? Look at his record. Congress tried to pass a national abortion ban before, in 2017, and then-President Trump endorsed it,” Harris concluded.

Trump responded by telling reporters he wouldn’t sign a national Pro-Life law if one made its way to his desk.

“You wouldn’t sign it?” a reporter asked Trump.

“No,” Trump shot back.

Establishment consultants want Republican candidates to ignore this issue in the hopes it goes away.

That won’t happen since the media knows this is the one issue Democrats can go on the offense on as Republicans are fleeing the field.

In the 2016 campaign, Trump won by taking the initiative on the issue and reframing the debate around Hillary Clinton’s extremist position of supporting abortion-on-demand up until birth.

Conservatives don’t understand why Republicans are abandoning that playbook and waving the white flag.
