Karine Jean-Pierre is the most incompetent White House Press Secretary anyone can remember.
Democrats rue the day Joe Biden leaned in on identity politics to pick Jean-Pierre to serve as the administration’s public face.
And now Karine Jean-Pierre made one twisted comment about kids that instantly blew up in her face.
With Joe Biden’s approval ratings hovering in the danger zone as he prepares to run for reelection, Biden’s handlers decided their best chance to win in 2024 rested with a strategy of base mobilization.
The Biden campaign likely realizes it is too heavy a lift to ask undecided voters to send a President they view as an incompetent failure back to the Oval Office until he is 86-years-old.
So Democrats want to rally the faithful.
And that’s why Democrats decided defending the right to mutilate children’s bodies through dangerous and permanent transgender surgeries needs to be a hill to die on.
Sometime in the last 10 years, the woke Left decided that gender was nothing more than a social construct that people can adopt and discard like if they were choosing to become a vegetarian.
The left-wing activists class then mobilized around the idea that society needs to not only tolerate and celebrate transgenderism, but that it must impose it on children, who have no way of knowing if the lifestyle they are choosing is healthy or what they even truly desire.
In the last year, red state Governors and legislatures woke up to the fact that the Left sought to normalize transgenderism by targeting children and began pushing back with laws banning chemical castration as well as transgender surgeries for minors.
Jean-Pierre sought to go on the offense in this fight even though polls show a majority of Americans support laws banning the sexualizing of children in schools by brainwashing them into transgenderism.
But Jean-Pierre’s attempt at getting out on the front foot to rally the base opened up a window in the demented way Democrats view children.
Jean-Pierre claimed parents of trans kids are worried about having to leave red states because they can’t force their children to undergo permanent, life-altering surgeries.
“I’ve met a lot of parents of trans kids in the past couple of months who have told me these devastating stories, whether they’re in Texas or Oklahoma or wherever they are, saying how they now have to seriously consider leaving their state to protect their child. That’s something that we have to call out and continue to be very clear about,” Jean-Pierre began.
Studies show that up to 90 percent of children who suffer from gender dysphoria solve their issues naturally as they grow up.
And critics suspect that children who do not are pressured into the transgender lifestyle by their parents.
But what really alarmed broad swaths of the public was Jean-Pierre’s declaration that children don’t belong to their families but to society at large and the government.
“These are kids. These are our kids. They belong to all of us,” Jean-Pierre added.
Society does not trust children to make informed decisions, which is why they cannot drive, smoke, drink, vote, or serve in the armed forces until they reach adulthood.
But Democrats – who want to ban firearm ownership for anyone under the age of 21 – think five and six year olds are mature enough to decide if they want to undergo transgender surgeries.
