Kayleigh McEnany has supported Donald Trump since the beginning of his campaign for President.
McEnany now serves the President as his Press Secretary.
And now Kayleigh McEnany just confessed something in front of America that no one could believe.
Kayleigh McEnany took the stage during the third night of the Republican National Convention and delivered one of the most powerful and emotional speeches of the entire proceeding.
McEnany described how in 2018, doctors diagnosed her with the genetic marker that gave her an 80 percent chance of developing breast cancer.
In response, McEnany underwent a painful preventative double mastectomy to ward off a future breast cancer diagnosis.
McEnany described how when the surgery was over, Donald Trump was one of the first people that called her.
“During one of my most difficult times, I expected to have the support of my family, but I had more support than I knew,” McEnany began. “As I came out of anesthesia, one of the first calls I received was from Ivanka Trump.”
“As I recovered, my phone rang again,” McEnany added. “It was President Trump, calling to check on me. I was blown away. Here was the leader of the free world caring about my circumstance.”
McEnany was not working for the administration when this happened.
But Donald Trump took the time to call her at a moment McEnany described as one of the most difficult of her life.
That’s why – McEnany told the TV audience – supporting Donald Trump would be the easiest decision she ever made.
“When I look into my baby’s eyes, I see a new life. A miracle, to which I have a solemn responsibility to protect,” McEnany added. “Choosing to have a preventative mastectomy was the hardest decision I ever had to make, but supporting President Trump, who will protect my daughter and our children, was the easiest.”
