“I don’t think it will work,” Lara Trump said. “I think people understand what is going on, and I think tonight just solidified Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States.”
The Trump campaign announced that it had the biggest single-day fundraising haul of the campaign with $4.18 million the day after the image of Trump’s mugshot was released.
The former President has a commanding lead in the GOP Primary after each indictment sent his poll numbers higher.
The polling for the general election is neck and neck between Trump and President Joe Biden.
Lara Trump said that her father-in-law’s poll numbers would rise against Biden when Republican voters understand the importance of their vote.
“His poll numbers continue to rise every single time they try to throw something like this his way because I think it becomes more and more obvious to the country what they’re trying to do and why it is so dangerous – why this precedent can not succeed here in America,” Trump said.
The lawfare being waged against Donald Trump hasn’t delivered the knockout blow that Democrats expected to his campaign.
He is polling better in the general election against Biden than at any point during the 2020 Election.
Lara Trump added that Democrats are attempting to destroy the foundations of the country and “cut fat off the Constitution” with their witch hunt against the former President.
“I kinda feel like this is our last chance to save this country,” Trump added.
Conservatives have rallied around the former President after the latest attempt to use a Soviet-style show trial to kneecap him.
Democrats will have to beat Donald Trump at the ballot box next year after their bogus criminal indictments failed to knock him out of the race.
