There is dissension in the ranks at Fox News Channel.
Two major stars appear to be at odds.
And Laura Ingraham just called out Sean Hannity for something that you won’t believe.
Laura Ingraham was among the many conservatives upset that Donald Trump endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race.
Ingraham interviewed former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, who is advising David McCormick, one of Dr. Oz’s rivals in the GOP Primary.
Ingraham played a clip of Dr. Oz taking a litany of left-wing positions, such as supporting so-called “climate change,” backing legislation to allow radical judges to order police to confiscate firearms without due process of law, and backing abortion.
“Do you think the Trump endorsement of Oz was a mistake?” Ingraham then asked.
Conway tried to not directly criticize Donald Trump for the Dr. Oz endorsement, saying all Republicans desperately want Donald Trump’s support.
“Well, President Trump’s endorsement in these Republican Primaries is a highly sought after and deeply consequential piece of political currency. So many people want it, they make the trek to Bedminster or Mar-a-Lago,” Conway began.
Ingraham was not satisfied with that answer and interrupted Conway.
“Was it a mistake, Kellyanne?” Ingraham interjected.
Conway again ducked the question and praised Donald Trump.
Ingraham then answered the question herself, saying that Sean Hannity’s strong support for Dr. Oz tipped Donald Trump to endorse him.
But then Ingraham called out Donald Trump for making a mistake in endorsing the very left-wing Dr. Oz.
“Hannity, I think, I believe endorsed Oz and I think that’s, you know, that’s probably not inconsequential for President Trump,” Ingraham added. “You wouldn’t answer the question whether it was a mistake. I think it was a mistake to endorse Oz. I’ll say it. I’m not afraid to say it. It was a mistake to endorse Oz.”
One of the issues where Dr. Oz fits more comfortably in the Democrat Party than today’s GOP is on transgender issues.
Dr. Oz once dedicated and entire episode of his popular syndicated show to exploring transgender surgeries for minor children.
Republicans across the country are passing laws to prevent left-wing activists from grooming young students into the transgender lifestyle with woke lesson plans.
And Dr. Oz will not be a strong ally in that fight.
That is among the many reasons conservatives are not happy with Donald Trump endorsing Dr. Oz.
