The Sunrise Movement May Day 2026 Plan Goes Way Beyond a Street Protest
Internal training materials from a March 2026 Sunrise Movement membership meeting – obtained by Defending Education – lay out exactly what this group is planning for America's future.
Phase 1, happening right now, has three goals: stop Trump, build toward mass noncooperation, and use the 2026 midterms to elect their people.
Phase 2 in 2028 calls for mass strikes and "the biggest tentpole of masses against Trump and his billionaires."
Phase 3 runs from 2029 to 2031 – they call it the "political revolution."
Phase 4 starts in 2032 and is titled "The New System."
The slides actually promise "happiness (maybe)" when they've finished dismantling everything your family built.

The grand objective, in their own words: "structurally change the foundations of this country" in pursuit of "eco-socialism" and a "multi-racial democracy."
That's not a climate group.
That's a communist organization using children as foot soldiers.
George Soros Funneled Millions to This Antifa-Linked Group and Your Kids Are the Target
This isn't some fringe operation working out of a basement.
George Soros' Open Society Foundations pumped at least $2 million into the Sunrise Movement between 2019 and 2023, according to the House Judiciary Committee's own letter to OSF – a letter Jim Jordan and Chip Roy sent last November demanding financial records.
The Capital Research Center documented that Soros-linked organizations have funneled more than $80 million to groups tied to terrorism and extremist violence – and the Sunrise Movement is on that list.
They didn't just take Soros money – they used it to back the Antifa-linked Stop Cop City campaign in Atlanta, where rioters threw Molotov cocktails at law enforcement, tried to blind officers with lasers, and set construction equipment on fire.
More than 40 people faced domestic terrorism charges from that attack.

Now the same group is handing training slides to college students and running clubs inside K-12 schools.
"Our academic institutions should be places of higher learning, discovery, and robust debate around ideas and policies, not weaponized or punished to achieve a 'structural change' to the political foundations of this country," Rhyen Staley, director of research at Defending Education, told Fox News Digital.
AOC and the Green New Deal Gave This Group a Seat at the Democratic Table
AOC didn't just cosponsor a bill with them.
She handed them legitimacy inside the Democratic Party – and every Democrat who voted for the Inflation Reduction Act's green energy provisions fed the same machine.
The Sunrise Movement spent years telling the Left that climate change required dismantling capitalism.
Democrats called that "bold leadership."
Now the slides say the quiet part out loud.
AOC co-authored the Green New Deal with Sunrise's help in 2019, giving a fringe eco-socialist operation a seat at the Democratic table.

Now that same operation is running campus clubs, funding Antifa lawyers, and handing four-phase revolution timelines to college students.
Groomed for Revolution
The slides also outline specific corporate pressure tactics – booking and canceling hotel reservations at Hilton and pushing universities to sever ties with companies they label "ICE enablers."
And it's all building toward May 1.
Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin stood in front of thousands at a No Kings rally in St. Paul and called for a nationwide strike on May Day – no work, no school, no shopping.
"It is a tactical escalation," Levin told the crowd. "It is an economic show of force."
Communist and socialist groups marched alongside mainstream Democrats at those same No Kings rallies – handing out Marxist literature, waving flags for Cuba and Iran, openly calling for revolution while major media described it as a simple anti-Trump protest.
Here's what fires me up most: the NEA's own president, Becky Pringle, joined a Sunrise Movement Zoom call titled "Roadmap to Political Revolution" – a call aimed at opposing ICE, targeting Trump, and phone-banking for progressive candidates.

Three million union members.
Thousands of local affiliates.
All being pointed at your school board, your university, your city – one "trigger moment" at a time.
The Sunrise training manual doesn't hide that language either – it instructs organizers to exploit unforeseen crises to absorb new members and radicalize communities faster.
They're not protesting anymore.
They're training.
And the training materials just confirmed what conservatives have been saying for years: this was never about the climate.
It was always about the revolution.
