Liz Cheney left no doubt.
The RINO Congresswoman is all-in on punishing former President Trump.
And Liz Cheney crossed this big line with one accusation about impeaching Trump.
Liz Cheney was one of ten RINOs in the House of Representatives who voted to impeach Donald Trump.
Now Cheney is fighting for her political life as the state party censured her and a recent poll shows Cheney trailing her primary challenger by 30 points.
Instead of backtracking, Cheney doubled down on her impeachment betrayal and even claimed Donald Trump may be a criminal.
“If I was in the Senate, I would listen to the evidence. I think that is the role the Senate has as jurors. I would also point out that the Senate trial is a snapshot. There’s a massive criminal investigation underway. There will be a massive criminal investigation of everything that happened on Jan. 6 and in the days before,” Cheney added.
Cheney then floated the idea that Donald Trump planned to incite a terrorist attack with his tweet about Mike Pence.
“People will want to know exactly what the president was doing. They will want to know, for example, if the tweet he sent out calling Vice President Pence a coward while the attack was underway, whether that tweet, for example, was a premeditated effort to provoke violence. There are a lot of questions that have to be answered, and there will be many, many criminal investigations looking at every aspect of this and everyone who was involved as there should be,” Cheney added.
Cheney then outrageously claimed what President Trump did was the greatest betrayal of the oath of office by any President in history.
“We’ve never seen that kind of assault by a president of the United States on another branch of government, and that can never happen again,” Cheney concluded.
Liz Cheney’s political career looks like it is circling the drain.
Cheney made the bet that the GOP establishment would seize back the party from Trump supporters.
But poll after poll shows that establishment Republicans who bought into the media narrative that GOP voters were ready to move on from President Trump completely misread the room.
