Liz Cheney is trying to purge Donald Trump and his supporters from the Republican Party.
Cheney has a new plan to make that happen.
Everyone found that out when Liz Cheney gave a jaw-dropping answer about running for President in 2024.
House Republicans are holding their retreat this week in Orlando.
The press quickly gravitated to House Republican Caucus Chair Liz Cheney because of her willingness to criticize Donald Trump.
Cheney voted to impeach President Trump and has only stepped up her attacks on Trump in an effort to seize control of the GOP back for the George Bush/Mitt Romney establishment.
At the retreat, Cheney took her war against Trump and his supporters to another level by hinting that she could run for President in 2024.
“I’m not ruling anything in or out — ever is a long time,” Cheney told the New York Post.
Cheney went on to say that the next Republican nominee must be someone that accepted Joe Biden’s win, and that anyone who objected to results at the January 6 joint session of Congress was disqualified.
“I think we have a huge number of interesting candidates, but I think that we’re going to be in a good position to be able to take the White House. I do think that some of our candidates who led the charge, particularly the senators who led the unconstitutional charge, not to certify the election, you know, in my view that’s disqualifying,” she said.
“I think that adherence to the Constitution, adherence to your oath has got to be at the top of the list. So, I think, you know that certainly will be a factor that I’m looking at and I think a number of voters will be looking at as they decide about ’24,” Cheney concluded.
The GOP establishment is eying the 2024 Presidential campaign to nominate a pro-amnesty, pro-endless war, pro-globalist trade deal nominee.
And their candidate may be Liz Cheney.
