Liz Cheney has become a national punchline.
She embarrassed herself one last time on her way out the door.
And Liz Cheney utterly humiliated herself after she said one jaw-dropping sentence.
Liz Cheney (R-WY) lost her mind over Donald Trump taking over the Republican Party.
She became Nancy Pelosi’s lapdog on the sham January 6 Committee.
Instead of focusing on stopping Joe Biden’s radical agenda, Cheney’s been obsessed with carrying out her personal vendetta against Trump.
Tuesday’s Republican Primary in Wyoming was the curtain call for Cheney’s career in Congress.
Cheney was crushed in one of the most humiliating Primary losses in history, losing by a punishing 37-point margin to Trump-backed attorney Harriet Hageman.
If Democrats were not allowed to crossover and vote in the Primary, the margin would have likely been even worse, as Cheney and her allies spent millions trying to convince Democrats to turn out and vote for her on Tuesday.
After her crushing Primary loss, Cheney gave her concession speech to a miniscule crowd where she compared herself to Abraham Lincoln.
“The great and original champion of our Party, Abraham Lincoln, was defeated in elections for the Senate and the House before he won the most important election of all,” Cheney told a crowd of supporters in Jackson, Wyoming. “Lincoln ultimately prevailed, he saved our Union, and he defined our obligation as Americans for all of history.”
After losing in such an embarrassing fashion, Cheney couldn’t help but to humiliate herself once again on her way out the door by comparing herself to Abraham Lincoln.
This is another hint that Cheney could be looking at a run for President in 2024.
Cheney’s allies in the corporate-controlled media and the RINO establishment have been encouraging her to run for President to stop a Trump comeback.
After getting routed in the Wyoming Primary, it’s clear that Cheney has no future in the Republican Party.
She would be a rounding error in any potential Republican Presidential Primary.
Cheney is living in the bubble of the Swamp, and it cost her Wyoming’s Congressional seat.
President Trump celebrated Cheney’s defeat on Truth Social, calling it a “wonderful result.”
“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive WIN in Wyoming,” Trump wrote. “This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs.”
“Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!” Trump added.
With Liz Cheney floating a Presidential run, she’s setting herself up for another humiliating loss on the national stage.
