LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne surprised her fans with this delicious national title celebration

Viral sensation Olivia Dunne turns heads and draws a crowd everywhere she goes.

Now she and her teammates are serving up a good time for hungry fans.

And LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne surprised her fans with this delicious national title celebration.

Olvia Dunne celebrates her team’s national championship

Louisiana State University (LSU) gymnast Olivia Dunne became one of the breakout stars in college sports after the NCAA allowed athletes to make money off of their name, image, and likeness (NIL).

Her good looks combined with her massive social media following allowed her to earn millions in endorsement deals and pose in the 2023 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

LSU’s gymnastics team won their first-ever national championship by edging out Cal and Utah for the title.

Dunne didn’t compete at the event, but she was there cheering her teammates on to victory.

To celebrate their national championship, the LSU women headed to Raising Cane’s – a fast-food chicken finger chain – to hold an event.

Dunne and her teammates worked the drive-thru line and the kitchen as part of a partnership with the chain.

“I have so many memories at Cane’s coming here with my teammates after a fun night,” Dunne said afterward. “We ate at Cane’s yesterday after coming back from our championship win and it was amazing. It tastes even better after winning, and I’ve always dreamed of working a ‘shift’ at Cane’s and here I am!”

Her boyfriend, former LSU pitcher and current Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Paul Skenes, worked the drive-thru at Raising Cane’s last year after the LSU baseball team won the national championship.

“I told Paul I wanted to work the Drive-Thru and remember when he did this after LSU baseball’s championship win, and now I’m here seeing all of our fans,” Dunne said. “It’s surreal!”

She and her teammates celebrated after their shift with chicken fingers.

Olivia Dunne’s future is up in the air

Unlike many college sports, there’s no professional gymnastics for Dunne to move onto after her college career wraps up.

She is a senior but has an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA for the shortened 2020 pandemic season.

Dunne told NBC’s Today that she wasn’t sure about a potential fifth year at LSU after her team’s national championship.

“It definitely makes me want to come back, but I haven’t quite thought about it completely,” Dunne said. “I’ve just been focused on the now and winning this national title, so I’ll definitely start thinking about it.”

According to On3 Sports, Dunne has an NIL valuation of nearly $4 million, and she admitted in a podcast that she was paid $500,000 for a sponsored post on Instagram.

Another season at LSU could keep Olivia Dunne in the spotlight as one of college sports most popular athletes.
