Democrats are stacking the deck against Donald Trump in the courtroom.
They’re trying to kneecap his presidential campaign.
And Mark Levin went nuclear on Trump’s judge in the January 6th case with this epic takedown.
Former President Donald Trump is facing a trial in District Court in Washington, D.C. after he was indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith for his alleged role in January 6th.
District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who’s presiding over the case, is a shameless political hack who was appointed to the bench by former President Barack Obama in 2014.
Fox News host Mark Levin demanded that she “step down” from the Trump case on his show Life, Liberty and Levin.
Levin explained that Chutkan’s decision to set the trial date on March 4, 2024, was election interference with the Republican presidential primary.
The trial date was set for one day before Super Tuesday which is the biggest date on the Republican primary calendar when voters head to the polls in more than a dozen states.
He said that the decision to set the trial on that date was for Trump’s primary challengers to claim that he couldn’t continue his campaign because he’s a felon.
“She wants Donald Trump branded as a convicted felon,” Levin said. “So, reprobates and opportunists like Chris Christie can run around…say Donald Trump can’t run for president. He’s too busy defending himself in the court, which is exactly why past attorneys general said you’re not supposed to do that.”
Trump has an overwhelming lead in the primary that’s only grown since his criminal indictments began to roll in.
Legal woes are the only possible path to the GOP nomination for Trump’s challengers.
“The bottom line is this: Judge Tonya Chutkan is absolutely not fit to be the judge in this case. She’s already demonstrated that,” Levin continued. “She’s created a very diabolical situation by jumping the line on the first case. We also know when she set that date on March 4th, she had already talked to the judge in the case in Manhattan. She already had made up her mind that she was going to pick March 4th. And she’s not a fool. She knew exactly what she was doing.”
Levin said that Trump’s trial beginning on March 4 would violate his Sixth Amendment right to a fair trial.
He added that the Chutkan should resign or be removed from presiding over the Trump case.
“Judge Chutkan, you need to step down,” Levin said. “And somebody who has the authority like the chief judge or the D.C. bar, if she doesn’t step down on her own, then you did tell her to step aside. This is worse than the appearance of a conflict. This is a conflict, a grotesque conflict.”
Democrats are trying to weaponize the legal system against Donald Trump to derail his presidential campaign.
