Matt Gaetz got one warning about a criminal investigation that could land him in prison

Joe Biden’s Justice Department is coming for pro-Trump Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.

The Deep State wants to lock up the outspoken Trump supporter and throw away the key.

And now Matt Gaetz got one warning about a criminal investigation that could land him in prison.

The Justice Department investigation into Gaetz sprung out of an indictment on sex trafficking charges of former Seminole County Tax Collector and Gaetz associate Joel Greenberg.

Reports in The New York Times claim federal prosecutors are investigating Gaetz for paying for women’s travel and dinners and then having sex with them.

Now Greenberg is set to plead guilty and cooperate with prosecutors in this case.

Greenberg’s lawyer Fritz Scheller issued a warning for Congressman Gaetz.

“I’m sure Matt Gaetz is not feeling very comfortable today,” Scheller told reporters.

But Gaetz is not backing down.

Female staffers who work in his office released a statement defending Gaetz from these attacks.

“Congressman Gaetz has always been a principled and morally grounded leader,’ the statement read.

The staffers refuted charges that Gaetz exhibited unprofessional behavior or disrespect toward women.

“At no time has any one of us experienced or witnessed anything less than the utmost professionalism and respect. No hint of impropriety. No ounce of untruthfulness. In our office and under Congressman Gaetz’s leadership, women are not only respected, but have been encouraged time and time again to grow, achieve more, and ultimately, know our value,” the statement added.

Gaetz also sent out an email defending himself claiming he was the victim of another partisan witch hunt.

“The D.C. Swamp protects its own, and their media puppets are going all-out with fake, salacious stories to try to take me down. These are the actions of a corrupt establishment that is seeking to take out Trump supporters,” the email read.
