Jon Ossoff thought he had a weapon when he dragged Natalie Harp's name into a campaign rally.
He handed the White House a week of chaotic headlines instead.
And this bombshell report just revealed how Melania Trump really feels about White House aide Natalie Harp.
What Melania Actually Thinks
Republican senators have called Harp "critical" to the Trump operation, and Sen. John Barrasso told Fox News Digital she is "an extra set of eyes and ears for President Trump."
That is the baseline.
Now a source close to the first lady is adding a layer the left did not see coming.
A source told Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack on Thursday that the jealous-wife narrative being pushed by liberals is exactly backward.
"Melania hates becoming part of somebody else's gossip, but she absolutely doesn't want Natalie gone," the source said.
The reason is simple.
"Natalie handles the exhausting, around-the-clock Donald duty Melania has spent years avoiding," the source explained.
A second source added that Harp "wants to be there for every meeting, every trip, every moment."
Melania does not.
"They want entirely different relationships with Donald, and that's exactly why this works," the source said.
Who Natalie Harp Actually Is
Harp caught Trump's attention in 2019 on Fox & Friends, where she credited his Right to Try Act with saving her life from stage 2 bone cancer.
She left One America News Network in 2022 to work for Trump full-time and has been at his side ever since.
She types his Truth Social posts, carries a portable printer so he can read information in hard copy, sits in on West Wing meetings, and relays messages between the president and members of Congress.
She also joined one of the most consequential moments of Trump's second term – the covert flight out of Turkey in July after U.S. intelligence detected a possible Iranian plot to fire a missile at Air Force One.

Only a handful of people were on that plane.
Pete Hegseth was one of them.
Natalie Harp was one of them.
Multiple Cabinet members were left behind on the decoy plane.
That is how close she is to this president.
Ossoff Tried to Make It Dirty
The Georgia Democrat had one goal when he mentioned Harp at an Atlanta rally on August 16.
"He doesn't want to do the job," Ossoff told the crowd. "He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie."
The White House fired back immediately.
Trump called Ossoff "Pee-Wee Herman."
Communications Director Steven Cheung lit into Ossoff on X in terms that are not printable in a family newsletter.
Ossoff then declared victory – claiming he had rattled the White House – and spent the next week collecting cable news hits off a story he manufactured from nothing.
Eric Trump set the record straight: Harp is "an incredible young woman" and "arguably one of the hardest-working people in the White House."
People inside the West Wing describe her relationship with the president as a "father-daughter" dynamic.
A trailing senator who cannot run on his own record found a 35-year-old woman who has given her career to serving the president and decided to use her as a prop.
Ossoff is running against Trump-backed Rep. Mike Collins in Georgia and needed something to talk about other than his voting record.
He found Natalie Harp.
Think about what he actually accomplished.
He introduced a previously unknown White House aide to millions of conservative voters – and those voters just learned she rode covert flights with the president, has the trust of Republican senators, and works so hard that the first lady is relieved she showed up.
Ossoff turned Natalie Harp into a conservative folk hero.
That is what losing looks like.
