Merrick Garland is panicking after a group of FBI agents made this bold statement

Attorney General Merrick Garland weaponized the FBI to target conservatives.

He never expected this blowback.

Now Merrick Garland is panicking after a group of FBI agents made this bold statement.

Donald Trump exposed the FBI’s corrupt leadership as an arm of the Democrat Party.

Under the Biden regime, the Bureau has stepped up its political targeting of conservatives.

Whistleblowers have been coming forward about the disturbing political bias of the FBI’s rogue leadership.

One of the whistleblowers, FBI Special Agent Stephen Friend, made disturbing allegations against the Bureau.

Friend made the alarming claim that the FBI was dropping investigations into child trafficking to prioritize January 6 cases.

“I was told that child sexual abuse material investigations were no longer an FBI priority and should be referred to local law enforcement agencies,” Friend said in his whistleblower report.

According to Friend, the FBI is going all in on the January 6 political witch hunt.

Friend took a stand against the FBI leadership’s abuse of power by telling them he “would not participate” in January 6 cases.

He said the FBI was going too far with its use of SWAT teams to raid harmless Trump supporters for misdemeanors.

The FBI dropped the hammer on Friend and suspended him over his decision to speak up about their obsession over January 6 cases.

FBI leadership is trying to stop a whistleblower from revealing their terrifying politicization of January 6 to serve the Biden regime’s aims.

Now, a group of former FBI agents are coming to Friend’s defense.

The New York Post exclusively reported that “thirty former FBI agents, including a retired deputy assistant director, head of counterterrorism and five SWAT team members, have spoken out publicly in support of suspended FBI whistleblower Stephen Friend.”

The retired agents fired back at the FBI’s increasingly politicized leadership.

“It’s time to stop the FBI from being the enforcer of a political party’s ideology,” said retired FBI agent Ernie Tibaldi. “We need to re-establish the FBI as the apolitical and independent law enforcement entity that it always was.”

Tibaldi praised Friend “for having the courage to stand up to the corruption that has taken over the leadership of the FBI.”

Friend claimed that the FBI is overhyping the events of January 6 to fuel their narrative of “domestic violent extremism.”

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department has been hyping “domestic violent extremism” as a flimsy pretext to target Trump supporters.

Terry Turchie, the former deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, said Friend was “a model example of what FBI agents nationwide should be.”

“Moral courage, leadership in the face of pressure, and true to the Oath of Office, FBI agents take to defend the United States Constitution and protect America and its citizens,” Turchie said.

He explained that when he led the arrest of the Unabomber for the FBI, he didn’t use a SWAT team and slammed the Bureau leadership for using them to arrest senior citizens on January 6 charges.

The FBI’s decision to suspend Stephen Friend is already creating major blowback for the beleaguered Bureau.
