Mitch McConnell just executed one surrender that left Donald Trump’s blood boiling

Conservatives stuck with Donald Trump because he fights.

But there is bad news about the rest of the Republican Party.

Because Mitch McConnell just executed one surrender that left Donald Trump’s blood boiling.

Mitch McConnell spent months telling Democrats that Republicans would filibuster any bill that would pour trillions of dollars in debt on the heads of the American people through raising the debt ceiling.

McConnell argued that if Democrats wanted to pass trillions of dollars in socialist spending through reconciliation with Democrat votes, then Democrats could raise the debt ceiling through the same process.

But McConnell folded and announced Republicans would allow Democrats to lift the debt ceiling until December through regular order.

All it took was Joe Biden to falsely claim Democrats could alter the filibuster to allow for debt ceiling increases on a majority vote for McConnell to throw in the towel.

“This will moot Democrats’ excuses about the time crunch they created and give the unified Democratic government more than enough time to pass standalone debt limit legislation through reconciliation,” McConnell wrote.

Donald Trump blasted McConnell for his surrender.

“Looks like Mitch McConnell is folding to the Democrats, again. He’s got all of the cards with the debt ceiling, it’s time to play the hand. Don’t let them destroy our Country!” Trump wrote in a statement.

Trump understood the foolishness of McConnell’s retreat.

The debt ceiling deadline threatened to blow up the Democrats’ multi-trillion-dollar socialist spending spree because there was not enough time to get everyone on the same page to pass a massive socialist welfare bill and raise the debt ceiling.

McConnell handed the Democrats precious weeks to round up the votes to pass the socialist spending bill and add trillions to the national debt.

Republican voters turned to Donald Trump in 2016 because establishment Republicans like Mitch McConnell refuse to fight back against Democrats imposing their will on the country.

Polls show Republicans still support Donald Trump for President in 2024. And that’s because they know Trump – unlike Mitch McConnell – will fight back against the Left.
