Mitt Romney stabbed Donald Trump in the back with this election double cross

Never-Trump traitor Mitt Romney is back at it.

With President Trump fighting to remain as President, Romney is working to kneecap his ability to function.

And Mitt Romney stabbed Donald Trump in the back with this election double cross.

President Trump campaigned on ending “endless wars” in the Middle East.

On Tuesday, the President made good on that promise by withdrawing 2,000 troops from Afghanistan and several hundred from Iraq.

America has been at war in Afghanistan since October 2001 and Iraq since 2003.

Instead of celebrating the fact that American long ago won those wars and honoring the achievement of the troops by bringing them home in victory, Mitt Romney demanded the President leave troops in those countries forever with no end in sight.

Romney falsely claimed that the President only ordered the withdrawals to satisfy his political goals.

“The decision to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan, Iraq, and potentially elsewhere should not be based on a U.S. political calendar. The Administration has yet to explain why reducing troops in Afghanistan – where conditions for withdrawal have not been met – is a wise decision for our national security interests in the region. Similarly, with continued security challenges in the Middle East, an arbitrary withdrawal from Iraq risks alienating our allies and emboldening our enemies. At a time when our adversaries are looking for every opportunity to exploit our weaknesses, the Administration should reconsider and reverse this politically-motivated decision and avoid worsening our national security challenges,” Romney wrote.

The bottom line is Romney is a typical swamp politician who would feel more comfortable in the Democrat Party than the GOP.

Romney never defends conservative positions and instead just attacks Donald Trump.
