Mitt Romney told this outrageous lie about voter fraud that will leave you speechless

Mitt Romney led the Republican resistance to Donald Trump beginning back in the 2016 campaign.

Romney never let go of his hatred for President Trump.

And now Mitt Romney told this outrageous lie about voter fraud that will leave you speechless.

In an interview on CNBC, Romney attacked President Trump’s allegations of widespread voter fraud by falsely claiming the President presented no evidence of fraud.

“The biggest concern that I have is that people here genuinely believe that somehow this election was stolen, and there’s not evidence of that. The president was saying it was stolen even before election day happened! He said if he loses, it would be fraud. Well, no one knows that. I thought I was going to win too when I ran for president in 2012. I didn’t. I didn’t go out and say fraud. We have a process. We count the votes. That’s the way it is,” Romney told leftwing activist and host Shep Smith.

President Trump’s campaign collected sworn affidavits consisting of thousands of pages of witness testimony detailing widespread fraud in states across the country.

Romney’s remarks came on the same day as a judge in Michigan ordered the release of an audit of Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan, which found that the machines were intentionally designed to “create systemic fraud and influence election results.”

The report also found that the machines had a 68 percent error rate.

In addition to his falsehoods about there being no evidence of voter fraud Romney attacked the President for supposedly damaging America’s standing in the world.

“I’m concerned that the cause of democracy here as well as around the world — people look to us. We’re the democratic leader of the world. What’s going on now, I’m afraid, is terribly dispiriting to people all around the globe,” Romney added.

In reality, what wounds the cause of democracy is an election where half the country refuses to accept the result as legitimate because the other half of the country tells them they are fools and liars for thinking there was widespread voter fraud despite what is obvious for many to see.
