Nancy Pelosi and her pro-impeachment lieutenants held their weekly press conference on Wednesday.
During the back and forth, no one could believe what Pelosi let slip about the coup to remove the President.
And now Nancy Pelosi admitted to one shocking impeachment defeat.
During the press conference, Pelosi took great pains to say that the Democrats have launched an impeachment inquiry and not “outright impeachment” of Donald Trump.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) attempted to draw the distinction during a press conference Wednesday that Democrats have launched an “impeachment inquiry,” not an “outright impeachment” of President Donald Trump.
Pelosi stated during the press conference with House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) that Democrats have begun an “impeachment inquiry” into the president over his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“This is an inquiry and not an outright impeachment. And we have to give the president his chance to exonerate himself, but he thinks what he did was perfect,” she stated.
That’s because she is still terrified of putting her most vulnerable members on the record for taking an official vote on the House floor.
Despite the Fake News Media pushing their public polls that show support for impeachment rising, political pros like Pelosi know that is not the case.
An official vote on impeachment would not only put Democrats on the record, but it would also give Republicans subpoena power.
And they could obtain communications between the spy and Adam Schiff’s staff that prove this was a coordinated political hit job from Day One.
Despite Pelosi and the media’s public confidence on the matter, Pelosi’s actions — wanting to rush impeachment through as quickly as possible without ever taking an official vote — shows she is still worried about the political fallout.
