Nancy Pelosi is still one of the leading voices in the Democrat Party.
Polls show the majority of Democrats want someone other than Biden to be the Party’s nominee.
And Nancy Pelosi gave one shocking answer about Joe Biden running in 2024.
Joe Biden continues to see polling data showing the American people – including a majority of Democrats – reject the idea of him running again in 2024.
An ABC News/Washington Post poll showed 58 percent of Democrats do not want Biden to seek re-election.
That same poll found more than 60 percent of Americans would be angry if Biden won re-election.
And to top it all off, this survey showed Donald Trump leading Biden.
The subtext of all these terrible poll numbers is the fact that the American people understand Joe Biden serving as President until he is 86 years old is a ridiculous proposition.
An NBC News poll found 54 percent of Americans do not believe Joe Biden is physically or mentally capable of serving as President.
After the State of the Union Address, CNN left-wing activist Abby Phillips asked Pelosi about the idea of a younger Democrat taking stock of those poll numbers and challenging Biden in a Primary by running on a message of generational change.
Pelosi defended Biden by claiming the Party would unite behind him if he seeks a second term.
“Joe Biden is a person of vision, knowledge, judgment, and strategic thinking to get the job done. It was a remarkable two years, a remarkable two years. And again, he connects very empathetically with the people. So, I hope he runs. I’m for him if he runs. And I know that the Democrats will fully embrace him,” Pelosi began.
“Do you think that there will be any Democrats to jump in to try to challenge Joe Biden on this generational argument?” Phillips asked in response.
Pelosi doubted any Democrat would run against Biden next year and rattled off the fake statistic that he loves to repeat about supposedly creating 12 million jobs during his first two years in office.
“No, I don’t. I think that you have to weigh all the equities. Yes, the age issue is something that we all have to contend with in every line of work. But I do think that the fact is that weighing the equities, this is a President with 12 million jobs and all of the things that he has done. He has a record unmatched by any recent president. Maybe Franklin Roosevelt,” Pelosi added.
Democrats – like Pelosi – do not want Joe Biden to run again.
But Democrats are stuck with Biden as long as he keeps saying he is going to seek re-election.
