Instead of doing anything to lower gas prices, the Democrats have pushed electric cars as the solution, despite the fact these impractical vehicles cost an average of $57,000.
Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack unloaded on Pelosi for her elitist, out-of-touch behavior.
In an appearance on Fox Business, she was asked about Joe Biden blaming “Putin’s price hike” for record high gas prices.
“Yes, it is 100% embarrassing. Do these people live in reality? Have they gone outside and filled up their gas tank? Oh, I’m sorry, Nancy Pelosi hasn’t filled up a gas tank in 40 years, let alone Joe Biden,” Cammack responded.
“It’s easy to make ridiculous statements that are completely devoid of reality when you are a limousine liberal who basically governs from the protection of armored vehicles and has a staff of people who do things for you,” Cammack said. “But out here in the real world, Americans are facing a $5,500 a year increase, and that’s the inflation tax.”
Even some Democrats have grumbled about Pelosi’s limousine liberal elitism.
During the pandemic, Pelosi appeared on James Corden’s Late Late Show from her home in San Francisco.
Pelosi made her appearance while standing in two high-end refrigerators that cost $24,000 each to show off her $12 a pint ice cream collection to the viewers.
While she claims to represent the working class, Pelosi is the textbook definition of the out-of-touch coastal elites who control the Democrat Party.
Cammack ripped Democrats for the disasters they’ve caused for working-class Americans.
“Did they think there would be no consequences for out-of-control spending? It’s clear when you compound the supply chain crisis and bad policies coupled with this hyper aggressive Green New Deal agenda pushed by limousine liberals, that is going to result in clearly a recession, and everyday Americans – those that the Left says that they stand up and fight for most – are the ones getting hit the hardest,” the Congresswoman warned.
With Pelosi clinging to a paper-thin majority in the House, her reign of terror could be coming to an end this fall.
