Nancy Pelosi being at war with Donald Trump is not a surprising development.
But this feud is taking an ugly turn.
That’s because Nancy Pelosi went on CNN and what she said about Trump crossed one big line.
President Trump announced at a White House event that he was taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure against possible coronavirus infection.
“I’m taking the two, the zinc and the hydroxy, and all I can tell you is, so far I seem to be ok,” President Trump announced.
The President has touted the drug in the past as a potential treatment for coronavirus after studies in Italy, France, and China showed the drug had promise to block the virus.
Many frontline healthcare workers and doctors have also been taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent infection.
This news did not please House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her allies in the Fake News Media who turned the President’s taking a promising drug in consultation with the White House doctor into the latest outrage of the day.
Appearing on fake news CNN, Pelosi suggested that hydroxychloroquine could kill the President because Trump was allegedly “morbidly obese.”
“As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group — morbidly obese, they say. So, I think it’s not a good idea,” Pelosi sneered.
If Donald Trump or any other Republican called Stacey Abrams or another prominent Democrat fat, the media would have tarred and feathered them, demanded an apology and try to run them out of public life.
But so called “reporters” greeted Pelosi’s fat shaming with high fives across social media.
