Barack Obama and his allies have a major problem on their hands.
The U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee de-classified a new round of Deep State text messages.
And this one smoking gun text message proves Obama was lying about Trump from the start.
Newly-released text messages from disgraced former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page shed a disturbing new light about just when the Russian investigation into Donald Trump and his campaign began.
The official FBI story is that it began on July 31, 2016 when Strzok signed off on “Operation: Crossfire Hurricane.”
But that is not true.
In a July 28, 2016 text message, Strzok wrote to Page about a number of counterintelligence investigations into Trump’s supposed Russian connections.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, released new texts on Thursday from Strzok.
One text, dated July 28, 2016, refers to “our open Counter-Intelligence investigations relating to Trump’s Russian connections.
”As the report notes, that was the date the FBI was tipped off by Australian diplomat Alexander Downer about a conversation in a bar with Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos, who had suggested that Russia might have Hillary Clinton’s missing emails. Clinton and her aides had deleted tens of thousands of emails from her time as Secretary of State, which she had housed on an illicit private server at her home. Then-FBI Director James Comey recommended against her prosecution.
In the mythology of the Russia probe, the FBI opened the collusion investigation after Australian diplomat Alexander Downer recalled a conversation with Trump aide George Papadopoulos.
Papadopoulos supposedly told Downer a Russian-aligned professor informed him the Kremlin had dirt on Hillary Clinton.
We know that to be false.
And that’s why it is vital that special counsel John Durham finish his work, release a thorough report accounting for all of the lies and corruption involved in the origin of the Russian collusion conspiracy theory, and bring criminal charges against the guilty.
