New York AG Letitia James issued this bone-chilling threat to Donald Trump

New York dropped the hammer on Donald Trump in the civil suit against him.

The state’s rogue Democrat Attorney General went full banana republic.

And New York AG Letitia James issued this bone-chilling threat to Donald Trump.

The deck was stacked against former President Donald Trump and the Trump Organization in the civil fraud case brought against them by Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James.

James claimed that Trump inflated the value of his assets to obtain more favorable terms on loans.

All of the banks that Trump with said that he paid them their money back on time and were happy with their business relationship.

Democrat Judge Arthur Engoron ordered that Trump and his organization pay almost $364 million in penalties despite no one presenting evidence of any fraud.

James ran for New York Attorney General in 2018 vowing to get Trump.

She searched for years for potential criminal charges to come after Trump with but came up empty so she resorted to a charge that had never been used before in the state’s history to try to finally get the former President.

Now James is doubling down on her banana republic tactics by threatening to seize Trump’s assets if he doesn’t pay the fine.

“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James told ABC News. “We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I look at 40 Wall Street each and every day.”

40 Wall Street is the address in Lower Manhattan of the Trump Building.

Trump has vowed to appeal the ruling and called it a “form of communism or fascism” during a Fox News town hall in South Carolina.

With the interest charged by New York, the total penalty charged could rise to $450 million.

Democrats in New York have weaponized the justice system to loot the assets of their top political opponent in a move that’s straight out of a third-world country.

Trump has hope of getting the fine overturned for the Stalinesque show trial.

The Eighth Amendment to the Constitution has a prohibition against unreasonable fines and the Fifth Amendment’s “Takings Clause,” which prevents the seizure of property without due process.

New York’s civil fraud case against Donald Trump confirmed that there is no line that that won’t cross to try to destroy him.
