Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden continue to hint that they are running for President.
That means America is heading towards a rematch of the 2020 election.
And Newt Gingrich just explained the one way Donald Trump will defeat Joe Biden in 2024.
No President ever lost more support quicker than Joe Biden.
Joe Biden entered office with an approval rating in the mid-50s and a disapproval rating in the high 30s.
But 18 months later, those numbers have flipped 180 degrees.
The Real Clear Politics polling average shows just 39.8 percent of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s performance in office.
54.8 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s job as President.
The media used to write story after story claiming Donald Trump was a historically unpopular President.
But despite the fact that Trump faced a lying press committed to driving him from office, as well as a deep state coup seeking to frame him for colluding with the Russians during the 2015 election, Joe Biden is even more unpopular than Trump.
In an appearance on Fox and Friends, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich previewed how Trump would run against Biden if they squared off in two years.
Gingrich noted that gas prices were more than twice as low under Trump as compared to Biden.
He also pointed out that inflation was under control during Trump’s Presidency.
“[E]very week that goes by, Donald Trump’s Presidency looks better,” Gingrich advised. “Look at his inflation rate, look at the price of gasoline when Trump was President. You know, people find his personality too aggressive and, at times, too annoying, but his policies certainly turned America around. And in Biden’s case, he doesn’t just fall off his bicycle — he takes the country with him. And you look at Biden’s inflation record, which as President is going to be worse than Jimmy Carter. You look at Biden’s open-door policy at the southern border. You look at Biden’s allies releasing murderers,” Gingrich began.
Gingrich added that if Americans simply compared the policy records of the Trump and Biden administration, then Trump would win in a landslide.
“There’s a lot of reasons why the country on policy grounds would favor Trump over Biden, and the latest poll, I think, was like six or eight points,” Gingrich concluded.
