As the Presidential election heats up, Democrats are beginning to crack.
Joe Biden supporters are worried the riots and civil unrest in the streets will provide President Trump a path to victory.
And now one Democrat just threatened Donald Trump’s life for this insane reason.
On Wednesday, President Trump signed a memo directing the Office of Management and Budget to identify federal funds going to cities like New York, Portland, and others that refuse to end the riots so the President can reappropriate them.
The federal government’s biggest leverage is the power of the purse and President Trump put these Democrat-run cities on notice that he would defund them to the fullest extent of the law unless they cleaned up their act.
This enraged New York Governor Andrew Cuomo who quickly called a press conference and said Democrats would go after Donald Trump if he walked down the streets of Manhattan without an army to protect him.
“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” Cuomo raged.
“He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him,” Cuomo added.
By the end of the call, Cuomo realized he essentially threatened the President’s life and tried to walk back his comments.
“My comment about the president and bodyguards in New York City, all I’m saying is that he is persona non grata in New York City. And I think he knows that. And he’ll never come back to New York, because New Yorkers will never forget how gratuitously mean he has been to New Yorkers and how many times he’s tried to kill the city that gave him his start and birthed him. That’s what I meant about the bodyguards,” Cuomo explained.
