One top CNN talent is looking at prison over this explosive scandal

The bad news continues to pour in for CNN.

One of their big-name talents is under investigation.

And this top CNN talent is looking at prison over this explosive scandal.

After Andrew Gillum lost the 2018 Florida Gubernatorial election, CNN snatched him up to be an on-air contributor.

Gillum’s campaign was dogged by an FBI corruption investigation into the city of Tallahassee and lobbyists friendly with Gillum.

Gillum claimed he was not the target of the investigation.

That turned out to be a lie as a federal grand jury issued a subpoena for records pertaining to Gillum’s time as Tallahassee mayor and his 2018 campaign.

The Daily Caller reports:

A federal grand jury issued a subpoena to obtain documents relating to former Democratic Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and his 2018 Florida gubernatorial campaign.

The subpoena was issued in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and orders that “documents, electronically stored information, or objects” relating to Gillum, his 2018 campaign and his political action committee, Forward Florida, be turned over by May 7, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Document requests reach as far back as 2015.

“We stand ready to assist any future review of our work, because I am confident we always did the right thing and complied fully with the law,” Gillum said in a statement to the Times.

CNN – which bills itself as the “facts first” – network did not cover the story at all.

They tried to hide the fact that one of their major on-air contributors is now the target of a federal corruption probe.

Censoring the news that reflects poorly on Democrats and playing up every story about the Trump administration as a massive scandal is why many Americans look at CNN as fake news.
