One Trump ally shut down Adam Schiff with seven brutal words of truth

Adam Schiff is one of the most partisan and anti-Trump members of Congress.

But Adam Schiff finally received his comeuppance.

And one Trump ally shut down Adam Schiff with seven brutal words of truth.

Former State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus appeared as the conservative host on The View on the same day the show booked Adam Schiff as a guest.

Ortagus confronted Schiff about Schiff reading the Steele Dossier into the Congressional record now that special counsel John Durham exposed the dossier as a hoax that was paid for and written by Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign.

Schiff dodged accountability for promoting the hoax dossier and instead cited other reports that also found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Ortagus would not let Schiff off the hook, noting that as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, the people expect Schiff to tell the truth and for years he’s peddled lies about possessing evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia – evidence he’s never produced because it never existed.

“You saw this information for years by promoting this. That’s what Republicans and what people who entrusted you as the Intel Committee Chair are so confused about your culpability in all of this,” Ortagus responded.

Schiff tried to bob and weave again, claiming it was perfectly reasonable to investigate Steele’s charges of collusion.

“Well, I completely disagree with you about your promise,” Schiff answered. “It’s one thing to say allegations should be investigated and they were. It’s another thing we should have foreseen an advance that people were lying to Christopher Steele which would have been impossible.”

Schiff continued on rehashing a list of the greatest hits of the hoaxes the Democrats whipped up to try and impeach and defeat Donald Trump.

“But let’s not use that as a smokescreen to somehow shield Donald Trump’s culpability for inviting Russia to help him in the election which they did, trying to force Ukraine into helping him in the next election, which he did. Into inciting an erection, insurrection which he did,” Schiff continued. “None of that is undercut. None of that serious misconduct is in any way diminished by the fact that people lied to Christopher Steele.”

But then Ortagus silenced Schiff after he claimed nothing about Trump’s supposed misconduct was undercut by Steele’s dossier ending up being a hoax.

“No. I think just your credibility is,” Ortagus shot back.
