Many Democrats are hoping Oprah will run for President in 2020.
They believe her celebrity status will give her a leg up on other competitors facing off against Trump.
But Oprah just revealed the only thing that will make her run and liberals were stunned silent.
Oprah told PEOPLE magazine she prayed to God about it.
Amid calls for her to consider a run for the White House — from fans as well as her closest friends — “I went into prayer,” she tells PEOPLE in the magazine’s new cover story. “ ‘God, if you think I’m supposed to run, you gotta tell me, and it has to be so clear that not even I can miss it.’ And I haven’t gotten that.”
Liberals were stunned silent.
But their reaction to Oprah praying for God to tell her to run for president casts a stark contrast to their reaction when Republicans talk about prayer.
Just recently on “The View,” co-host Joy Behar mocked Christians and in particular Vice President Mike Pence as having a “mental illness” for his relationship with God.
“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you… that’s called mental illness… hearing voices,” she said.
Sarah Palin called Behar out on Twitter over the obvious double standard in the media.
So, Joy Behar, do you consider our friend Oprah Winfrey’s prayer a sign of ‘mental illness,’ too? Double standards, much? – SPhttps://t.co/wIULo089Hn pic.twitter.com/toVHVCVgs2

ABC refused to respond to over 30,000 calls for Behar to apologize.
But that’s not the only recent example.
Liberal activists and their pals in the media relentlessly mocked former Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann for saying she was praying to see if God wanted her to run for Senate in Minnesota.
One group even went so far as to raise money for a billboard in St. Paul mocking Bachmann and Christianity.

Liberal blogs like Salon and others gleefully reported on the billboard as “God” giving Bachmann a sign.
Meanwhile, we’re not going to hold our breaths waiting for Joy Behar to mock Oprah’s faith, because Oprah’s not Mike Pence.
