Pod Save America Got Caught Deleting a Clip and a Former Biden Staffer Exposed Them

Pod Save America deleted a clip and hoped nobody would notice.

Someone did – and he used to work for Joe Biden.

Now the podcast that lectures America about democracy can't explain what happened in those six hours.

The Clip They Didn't Want You to See

On Sunday, Pod Save America – the podcast run by ex-Obama staffers who think they invented political courage – hosted MSNOW's Chris Hayes to discuss whether Democrats should be running with Hasan Piker.

Hayes said the quiet part out loud.

He told listeners it doesn't make "a ton of sense in a general election" to campaign with a man who called America responsible for 9/11, praised communist dictators, and dismissed Hamas rapes as essentially irrelevant.

Hayes even added that Piker "is probably going to have to watch what he says a lot more" if he wants to help the left.

That was enough truth for one day.

Crooked Media clipped it, posted it to X, and watched it go viral – because moderates were thrilled to see someone on the left finally say it.

Then, sometime before 9 a.m. Monday, the clip vanished.

Democrats Busting Each Other

Michael LaRosa – a man who spent years defending Joe Biden for a living – noticed it was gone.

LaRosa served as press secretary to First Lady Jill Biden, which makes his position remarkable: he has publicly backed Republican Mike Rogers over Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, and he had been celebrating the clip because it told the truth about Piker's political toxicity.

"WOW," LaRosa posted on X. "@PodSave America appears to have deleted the clip they themselves posted of @Chrislhayes and @alexwagner telling the truth about why Hasan Piker is a major liability and problem for El-Sayed."

He wasn't done.

"Apparently, their candor was refreshing right up until moderates like me started amplifying and celebrating it," he said.

Gun control activist Shannon Watts – no friend of conservatives – also called out the deletion publicly.

Hours of backlash followed.

After 3 p.m. Monday – more than six hours after the clip disappeared – Pod Save America quietly reposted a longer version with "more context."

Watts suggested the podcast simply wanted to add context.

LaRosa didn't buy it.

"Which means somebody from Piker's camp or El-Sayed's camp probably wined and cried and forced them to take down and recreate the content," he responded. "Truly hysterical. But how embarrassing for 'Pod Save America.'"

Crooked Media did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

The Man Democrats Can't Quit and Can't Defend

Hasan Piker is not some minor internet curiosity.

He said "America deserved 9/11" on a 2019 livestream and has separately praised Mao Zedong as "one of the great leaders of this world" – and he has become one of the most influential figures driving young voters toward the Democrat Party in 2026.

El-Sayed – who just won the most expensive Senate primary in Michigan history – celebrated his victory with Piker at his side, then two days later was photographed with him poolside at a Detroit party the night before Election Day.

Senator John Fetterman has already warned El-Sayed directly: "I dare you to keep campaigning with someone like Hasan Piker. If I was a Republican, I would just dump $20 million for ads."

El-Sayed's answer was to wave Piker off as just "a streamer."

The defections don't stop with LaRosa.

Julian Epstein was chief legal counsel for House Democrats during the Clinton impeachment – the man whose entire career was built defending the Democrat Party from Republicans – and he has announced he is supporting Republican Mike Rogers over El-Sayed because of Piker.

"I don't understand why people keep talking about Hasan Piker in the media because I think the guy is a lunatic," Epstein told Fox News Digital.

The Democrat Party is not having an honest debate about Piker's toxicity – they are managing optics, deleting inconvenient clips, and hoping nobody notices the man praising communist dictators at their Senate candidate's pool party.

Pod Save America told the truth for about twelve hours before someone made a phone call and the truth disappeared.

That tells you everything about who is actually running the Democrat Party's messaging operation – and it isn't the ex-Obama staffers.
