The final days of every campaign sees surprise endorsements as campaigns try to make a splash that will sway the few remaining undecided voters.
2020 is no different.
And President Trump just got one surprising endorsement that could come back to hurt Joe Biden.
Grammy winning rapper and actor 50 Cent – whose real names is Curtis Jackson – endorsed Donald Trump on social media after seeing how Joe Biden’s $4 trillion tax increase would lead to taxpayers in some states paying over 60 percent of their income in taxes.
“WHAT THE #$%^! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, FUCK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway,” 50 Cent posted on Instagram.
50 Cent’s endorsement of Donald Trump came on the heels of a new Hoover Institution study showing that Joe Biden’s tax increase, the so-called “Green New Deal,” and other increased regulations would lead to $6,500 reduction in the median income for Americans by 2030.
A separate study of the Biden economic agenda would lead to a 1.5 percent decrease in GDP over ten years.
Biden’s plan to raise tax and impose crushing regulations would take American back to the Obama economy, which was the slowest economic recovery since World War II.
Americans were so fed up with Obama’s sluggish economy and disastrous policies that they elected Donald Trump when Hillary Clinton was running on Barack Obama’s third term.
Now Joe Biden is running on the largest tax increase in American history and socialist “Green New Deal” agenda that is even further to the Left than the policies Barack Obama put in place during his two terms in office.
50 Cent’s endorsement of President Trump is also highlighting a problem Joe Biden has in building up the massive margins a Democrat needs to win with young black male voters.
Trump has an opening to increase his support with young black men and cut into Joe Biden’s margins.
And in close swing states that could prove decisive.
