Hillary Clinton is getting a lashing for her recent comments in India.
Even some former supporters and staff condemned her remarks.
But none of them let Hillary have it quite like The Donald.
Speaking at a record-breaking fundraiser in Pennsylvania, Trump addressed Hillary’s outrageous comments about white women only voting for him because they were told to.
RealClearPolitics reports that Trump began his remarks by reminding attendees about Hillary calling Trump supporters “deplorable.”
“Democrats haven’t learned, they still think the loyal citizens who care about jobs and borders and security are deplorable,” he said. “When Hillary made that speech, she said deplorable, I thought it was bad, but I didn’t know it was going to be that bad. But the problem is she said so many of my people were deplorable and you know the next day, I made a speech and everybody’s wearing ‘I am deplorable.’ I said something’s going on here.”
“I would say her last statement about women, they have to get approval from their husbands, their sons, and their male bosses to vote for Trump,” he said.
“That was not a good statement. Not good,” Trump said.
But that wasn’t all. Trump continued:
“You notice how fast Democrats have run from these statements?” Trump asked. “They are disavowing those statements like I’ve never heard before. She’s wrong, people that were her biggest supporters are now saying what is she doing? Why doesn’t she just go home? But that was not a good statement.”
Trump went on using the occasion to slam Democrats like Maxine Waters, reminding voters what Republicans are up against.
“The truth is the Democrats have never been more vulnerable because they’ve lost touch with normal everyday working people. Democrats haven’t learned, they still think the loyal citizens who care about jobs and borders and security are deplorable.”
What do you think?
Is Donald Trump right that Democrats have lost touch with “normal everyday working people”?
