Anthony Fauci's own assistant put it in writing that she destroyed "tons" of his emails and told him about it.
Now Rand Paul has those communications, and Democrats just voted to make sure you never hear from her.
And Rand Paul exposed the GOP Senator trying to protect Anthony Fauci from facing justice.
The Email That Proves It All
Rand Paul didn't have to speculate.
He had the logs.
Pulling records from Fauci's government computer, Paul's Senate Homeland Security Committee found an email from Fauci's top assistant bragging – in writing – that she had destroyed "tons" of his emails over a weekend.
"Hey, Dr. Fauci, I was able to destroy tons of your emails this weekend," she wrote, according to Paul.
Those aren't just embarrassing words.

Every work email generated inside the executive branch is a federal record under the Federal Records Act.
Destroying them is a federal crime.
Paul's committee moved quickly – they brought her in last Friday to answer for it.
She brought lawyers, invoked the Fifth Amendment, and said nothing.
Democrats Vote to Keep Her Quiet
Paul's team tried the textbook move – offer her prosecutorial immunity in exchange for testimony.
She could talk freely, expose who gave the orders, and walk away without prosecution.
Democrats on the committee killed it.
They blocked the measure from reaching the required two-thirds majority.
Think about that.
Democrats, given a direct chance to help Americans find out the truth about what Fauci did with COVID records, chose silence instead.
Paul said his committee's entire purpose in offering immunity was to find out who gave the orders – and he's already got a prime suspect.
"We presume Anthony Fauci," Paul said.
The Gain-of-Function Programs Nobody Knew Existed
The email destruction isn't even the biggest revelation.
Paul says Fauci's phone, computer, and diary have surfaced communications about gain-of-function research programs that his committee had no idea existed until now.
"Some programs that are very worrisome, gain-of-function programs that we didn't know existed until we came across these emails," Paul said during an interview on Just the News, No Noise.
That's the part that should terrify you.

Years of public testimony, congressional hearings, and official denials – and there were still programs nobody in Congress had been told about.
Paul believes the classified bioweapons and biodefense categories were used to hide this research from any outside scrutiny.
"It is our belief that most of the gain-of-function research that's going on, and probably still goes on, is classified and done in the bioweapons or biodefense category," Paul said.
His warning about what that means is not political theater.
Paul is an ophthalmologic surgeon, and he's telling you that scientists are creating airborne viruses with enhanced lethality while the only check on those programs is classified secrecy.
"There are certain experiments where you're creating viruses that are more transmissible through the air that are a death wish," Paul said.
Tom Cotton Is Blocking Rand Paul's Investigation
This story has a twist most people haven't caught yet.
It's not just Democrats blocking Paul.
Tom Cotton – Republican, Arkansas, chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee – has been working to keep classified gain-of-function information away from Paul's Homeland Security panel entirely.
Cotton wrote to the Director of National Intelligence demanding that no information be shared with Paul's committee.
Paul was direct: "Tom Cotton is the chairman of the Intelligence Committee. He is doing everything he possibly can to prevent us from getting information about these programs."
That's a Republican senator blocking another Republican senator's oversight investigation into classified bioweapons research.
Paul said Cotton's position is that if his committee wants access, Cotton might personally decide to let them look at some of it – on his terms, filtered through his committee.
That's not oversight.
That's a gatekeeper.
This Isn't Theory Anymore
David Morens – Fauci's senior adviser for more than 20 years – already pleaded guilty in August to conspiring to conceal federal COVID records.

That's not an accusation.
That's a guilty plea in federal court.
Fauci himself invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times before Paul's committee in July.
His own assistant is now pleading the Fifth, and inside Fauci's own government logs, she's bragging in writing about destroying his emails.
At some point, this stops being a cover-up theory and starts being a documented pattern of federal crimes.
Paul said more revelations are coming within the week – and if Democrats and Cotton keep blocking his path, he's sending the whole file to the Justice Department and letting prosecutors take over.
The people who destroyed the records, hid the programs, and invoked the Fifth didn't do it because they had nothing to hide.
They did it because what they were doing would make America's reaction to COVID look like a warm-up.
