Rand Paul revealed one terrible way public health is worse than the Deep State

The curtain is being pulled back on the federal government’s public health bureaucracy.

Now the awful truth about their massive deception is being exposed.

And Rand Paul revealed one terrible way public health is worse than the Deep State.

Rand Paul says NIH is covering up more documents than the CIA

U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for covering up more documents from Congressional investigators than the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during an appearance on Fox News.

The inner circle of former National Institution of Allergy and Infectious Disease Director (NIAID) Dr. Anthony Fauci was caught red-handed in a cover-up.

Fauci’s former Chief of Staff, Greg Folkers, strategically misspelled words in emails so they wouldn’t appear in open records requests.

And Fauci’s former senior adviser, Dr. David Morens, consulted with the NIH Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Office on how to keep his communications from being discovered on open records requests.

Messages were also hand-delivered to keep them off government email where they could potentially be uncovered in open records requests.

“Right now, the NIH is withholding records; they’re withholding records more so than the CIA or the FBI,” Paul said.

Top NIH officials tried to cover their tracks in communications with EcoHealth Alliance – the non-profit that used taxpayer-funded federal grants to fund risky gain-of-function research on coronaviruses at the lab in Wuhan, China.

“They have completely withheld all records of the decision-making process on whether or not this research was dangerous or gain of function,” Paul explained. “So I hope Trump will open the books. I hope Trump will say, ‘you can look at everything’ and that my committee will be allowed to investigate this thoroughly because we’ve been hampered by the Biden administration.”

Paul said that Trump pulling back the curtain on NIH’s books would go “a long way” to getting the supporters who want answers about the pandemic.

Payments between Fauci’s office and Big Pharma during the pandemic exposed

Government watchdog group Open the Books uncovered the cozy relationship between major pharmaceutical companies and scientists at the NIH.

The NIH and its scientists received $710 million in royalty payments from private corporations to license their medical innovations between 2021 through 2023.

Fauci’s NIAID office received $690 million of those payments.

These payments to government scientists began to spike during the pandemic.

Paul introduced the Royalty Transparency Act to require the NIH to disclose what its scientists are getting paid for from groups outside the government and by whom.

“This is just basic 101 of conflict of interest. We’re letting the billions of dollars that change hands over at NIH and between NIH and Big Pharma to be completely unscrutinized,” Paul said. “This is probably the first reform bill that actually has a chance to correct some of the things that are rotten in the system.”

A light is finally beginning to shine on the secretive actions of the NIH and its scientists – and sunlight is said to be the best disinfectant.
